Jennifer Mellon Breaks Down Why You May Need a Private Investigator

Have you ever considered the possibility that you may need a private investigator one day? The likely answer is that you haven’t but there are in fact a large number of occasions that you may very well need one of these professionals. I was speaking about exactly this last week with a good friend of mine Jennifer Mellon, an ex-policewoman who is now a a private investigator working for the wonderful service Trustify. This company makes hiring a private investigator very easy and they have great investigators at very good prices. Jennifer was telling me just some of the tasks which she carries out so I thought that I’d share it in case you ever run into one of these situations.

    Child Custody

If you have a child custody dispute with your ex-partner you will no doubt want it resolved as soon as possible. Most cases are very respectful and the parents manage to reach an agreement between themselves but not in all cases. In fact if things are not good between you and the other parent and you do not feel that they are fit to look after the child, you can hire a private investigator who can watch what the other parent is doing, and then can be counted as a witness in court.

    Background Checks

Private investigators have a huge number of resources at their disposal which they can use to do background checks on just about anyone. Let’s say that you are hiring from abroad or that someone has a CV which you are suspicious about, hiring a private investigator like Jennifer Mellon or her partner Danny Boice can find out the truth in a matter of hours. Equally if you are going into partnership with another business it makes sense to carry out due diligence and have their business checked out too, again this can be done in a matter of hours.

    Personal Injury

If you have been involved in an accident that wasn’t your fault and you are raising a personal injury claim, it may be difficult for you to get hold of all of the witnesses and evidence that you may need to support your claim. Call a private investigator however and they will be able to obtain all of this and more in order to support your claim. Private investigators have a rich list of contacts and they know where to go and who to speak to in order to get the information and the evidence that they need.

    Infidelity

If you want to review whether or not you partner has been cheating on you, a private investigator is the perfect person to do it. PIs are used for this very often during a divorce hearing when one party suspects the other of infidelity, proving this can make a huge difference to the divorce settlement.
